Homemade Dark Chocolate

Now this is awesome – chocolate that is actually healthy!  Here, have another piece.  Enjoy this yummy chocolatey treat guilt-free, because it’s GOOD FOR YOU!

The thing I love about this chocolate is that the ingredients are ones that I always have in my pantry, so I no longer have to rely on hubby buying Lindt – I can make my own in 30 minutes!  Hmmm… I foresee a chocolate coma coming up…

Homemade Dark Chocolate

Homemade Dark Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup virgin coconut oil, melted
  • 30 mL pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch himalayan pink salt

Method:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl (or a saucepan over very low heat if the room temperature is cool), then pour into moulds and freeze for 30 mins or until hardened.  Easy!
