I’m not sure what would give someone the idea to put pepper on strawberries (possibly the same idea that inspired a person to first eat something that fell out of a chicken’s bum), but I’m glad they did! This seems like a strange combination, but you wouldn’t believe how yummy these are. A very refreshing light dessert.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Resting time: 1 hour
Serves: 4 (although when we made it, it only served 2 🙂 )
Ingredients:
- 1 punnet strawberries
- 1 tsp white pepper (we used black pepper and it turned out great)
- 1.5 tbs (6 tsp) icing sugar
- 3 tsp chopped fresh mint (we used dried mint and it was fine)
Hull the strawberries, cut them in half and put them in a bowl. Sprinkle with pepper, sugar and finely chopped mint. Toss gently and let sit for 1 hour at room temperature. Toss again after 1/2 hour.

Good day! Do you use Twitter? I’d like to follow you
if that would be okay. I’m definitely enjoying your blog
and look forward to new updates.
Fantastic blog! Do you hhave anyy helpful hints
for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon bbut I’m
a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like Woddpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed ..
Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
I am really impressed with your writing skills and also with
the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?
Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog
like this one nowadays.
My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find a lot of your post’s
to be exactly what I’m looking for. Do you offer
guest writers to write content in your case?
I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write concerning here.
Again, awesome blog!
